World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses such as crit chance and PvE damage.
For instance an item with the upgrade template ending in % will gain an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).
The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the item's current level. The cost increases as the level of the item increases.
Components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a boost in stats or an extra effect. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before a component can be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used once; they can't be used multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
Cases gg may have a prefix or suffix, modifying the name of the equipment to which it is used (for examplethe "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with less Upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level using standard methods.
A 'boost' upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.
The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of the item will drop at the time of the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even if they are unsure how much it will be improved after an update.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a high chance that the item could be obsolete or even break if it fails; a failure to upgrade can destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also give a bonus if they are reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded many ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as you can.
In the final game, you will often find that the best way to enhance your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes much faster.
Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced by using the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
When you have the desired Glyphs You will have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in the most important locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.
Leveling
The item upgrade system allows players to increase the power of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled until they reach a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level requires a different number of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is leveled up.
Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When an individual player upgrade an item, the base item will be replaced with an item that is new. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This could be a drawback, as the item can be more expensive even if you do not require it.
If the player has enough tokens, they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful but it shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.
Some upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, allows the player to modify their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or is able to swim like a dolphin). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time increasing the max roll by an increment of 10. This item is extremely valuable in PvP, as a perfectly rolled version of it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its value without being upgraded.
Requirements
The upgrader for items allows players to increase the level of their equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and armor) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal and also increase their strength and dexterity.
Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can have eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can result in the item returning to its initial state, which requires the player to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.
If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will reset to zero. Additionally the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with the effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.
Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to the value of the base item. For instance an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will have an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.
Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade requires the use of different upgrade ingredients.
